Composition
Composition is the placement of visual elements or ingredients in a work of art.
These are some types of composition:
- over-all composition (1st painting)
- asymmetrical composition (2nd painting)
- symmetrical composition (3rd painting)
- negative space composition (4th painting)
The first painting is made by Picasso and the second one is made by Modigliani. Both these painting where made in the year 1912.
In this period Modigliani used not that much bright colour, but his paintings did contain colour. He used in this painting oval and round shapes. Colors used are: - black, grey, orange, dark red, soft red mixed with grey, light pink (peach).
In this painting, Picasso painted (I think so) an instrument, violin. He used a lot of different shapes and colours. The shapes especially used in this painting are very squared. Colours used are:
- yellow, white, black, red, dark purple, brown.
This is a sculpture made by Nathan Sawaya. He makes sculptures of lego bricks.
